Join New Sector Alliance and PSEI VISTA in a conversation around ideas and best practices for managing a Cohort Based Professional Development Program.
While our program focuses may be different we share many of the same components. New Sector and PSEI VISTA want to create a space where other managers of these programs have the opportunity to share best practices, good (and bad) guest facilitators, great (free/cheap) meeting spaces and figure out opportunities where there are intersections and we can work together. While we (New Sector/PSEI) are AmeriCorps Programs, we realize we share commonalities of practice and challenges with other organizations developing professionals in the nonprofit sector. We welcome anyone working with a cohort that incorporates a professional development curriculum.
Perhaps we meet once and create a resource list. Maybe we meet quarterly to discuss our programs. Who knows where this will go? The important part is this first conversation, let's figure it out together.
