Engine for Social Innovation: Surveying social enterprise in the Twin Cities

We all get by with a little help from our friends. Engine for Social Innovation is one our Minnesota Rising 2011 Un/Conference Network Partners and is a great example of that. They provide a revolutionary way for talented professionals and nonprofits to work together by enhancing the capacity of nonprofits while professionals develop their skills, network and civic engagement! And now, they've got an ask for you, friends. See below for a request from Jim Delaney, who heads up Engine's efforts in social innovation.

The United Way has set out on an important and ambitious project to support social enterprises in the Twin Cities. They have asked Engine for Social Innovation to start by helping to define what a social enterprise is and then to find all of the social enterprises operating in the Twin Cities. We are working on this project in collaboration with Social Venture Partners and Social Enterprise Alliance to cast a wide net.

Please see click this link to help us identify organizations doing important work and help the United Way foster the social enterprise movement in the Twin Cities. Also, there is an incentive – we will draw five names from those who respond to each win a case of Finnegans Irish Amber!
