High Resolution: Connection with clarity

Friday, January 11, 2013
Networking happy hour: 5:30PM
(cash only) // Show: 6:30PM
You're invited to reflect on the meaning and importance of connection on January 11! As the inaugural event in our new Connect Through Purpose series, it will help you start to be more intentional in your connections in 2013: with YNPN Twin Cities, other young nonprofit professionals, and the entire nonprofit community.

First, using a fun, interactive format, you'll share your experiences and ideas about connection in small groups. Then, the Theater of Public Policy will elevate your conversations through short segments of improv performance, giving us a better understanding of what authentic connection means, how it's created, and how it can impact our nonprofit career paths.
Come prepared to share your experiences and ideas about authentic connection in your personal and professional life.

TICKETS: $8 YNPN members / $12 nonmembers
$12 for ALL tickets at the door (cash only)

PRESENTERS:
Tane Danger
Having performed, taught, and produced improv for nearly a decade, Tane Danger has long sought ways to tie his two passions together: serious public policy discussions and unscripted comedy theater. Tane founded and directed the improv comedy troupe at Gustavus Adolphus College, LineUs, which thrives to this day. He was also a founding member of Walrus Improv Comedy in Minneapolis, and most recently, The Theater of Public Policy. In 2011, he developed the idea that would become The Theater of Public Policy with friend and fellow improviser Brandon Boat.

Following the quick success of the show, Tane and Brandon founded their own company, Danger Boat Productions, LLC. The two were also tapped by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, where they currently serve as artists in residence.
