You're Invited: YWCA Mankato Women's Leadership & Empowerment Conference 2025

YWCA Mankato invites you to their 2025 Women's Leadership & Empowerment Conference. See below for the conference overview and speaker bios!

Let’s Get Real ... It’s Time to Talk Money, Power, and Possibility.

We get it, money can be a complicated topic. But that’s exactly why this year’s Resilient & Ready: Women Taking Charge conference is the place to be. It’s where women gather to have real conversations about finances, freedom, and the systems that have shaped our stories ...and then learn how to rewrite them.

This conference isn’t just about numbers. It’s about dignity, opportunity, and power. Together, we’re building a future where women transform the system ... even when it scares them.

And here’s the best part: the first 125 registrants will receive a free copy of keynote speaker Janine Rogan’s groundbreaking book, The Pink Tax.

WHEN: Wednesday, NOVEMBER 12th, 8:30am - 4:00 pm

WHERE: CSU, BALLROOM, Minnesota State University, Mankato

Don’t wait, seats are filling fast!

Meet Our Keynote Speaker: Janine Rogan

Author, CPA, and founder of The Wealth Building Academy, Janine Rogan is internationally recognized for her work on closing the gender wealth gap. Her keynote will shine a light on The Pink Tax, the hidden costs that keep women at a disadvantage ... and challenge us to dismantle financial systems that no longer serve us. You’ll leave inspired, informed, and ready to take action.

Are you a local entrepreneur, organization, or woman-owned business ready to connect with hundreds of attendees? The Program was launched from a partnership between the University of Minnesota's Center for Integrative Leadership, GREATER MSP’s Itasca Project, and Harvard Business School (HBS), and shares themes as well as selected faculty and content with the national Young American Leaders Program (YALP), which has been held in Boston since 2015. Both Programs focus on the US and regional competitiveness, shared prosperity, and cross-sector collaborations, and both seek to create relationships among civically focused leaders in our region and state.

Thus far, close to 400 Minnesota participants have participated in one of the two Programs building the connective tissue for cross-sector leadership across for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors in their communities.
