The state Canvassing Board certified results showing that just under 3 million people cast ballots, with 30,000 votes more than the previous record.

2. Minnesota continues to lead the nation in voter turnout, with more than 76 percent of eligible voters casting ballots in 2012.

3. MPIRG released numbers indicating that youth 79% voted in opposition to the marriage amendment and 69% voted in opposition to the voter ID amendment, as compared to 54% of the electorate voting no on the marriage amendment and 52% on voter ID.

Hope that helps, and please share if you find additional state-specific data. I love that you found a gig that smartly incorporates your deep value of caring for animals while managing to use your best talents on a daily basis. I seem to recall people telling me when I was younger that I should be a lawyer because I was opinionated and liked to argue. I heard Walter Mondale talk about how politicians from both parties used to work together to get things done because that was their job, and that surprised a lot of people. I see a divide growing between city and rural, right and left, haves and have-nots. We continue to become more individualistic and carve out our own little niches, so I doubt we'll go back to the old way of doing things - but hopefully we'll come up with something that works.Katie Tharpnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1514286050517042317.post-16700946919218118202012-03-29T13:04:59.690-05:002012-03-29T13:04:59.690-05:00Agreed.
