MINN Event: Social Just Consent and Usage of Photos in NGO Marketing and Stories

Join our discussion on Social Just Consent and Usage of Photos in NGO Marketing and Stories. The event will provide a space to discuss questions such as: How can we justly represent children in NGO promotional and evaluation work? How do we tackle informed consent for images used in development work? What might informed consent look like? What are some of the power relations / dynamics at play?
Additionally, at the event we will have three roundtable discussions you can join:  1) Process and creation of organization's photo use and consent criteria/guidelines; 2) The use of photos as a part of an organization's evaluation process; 3) The use of photo voice / digital stories to collaborate with NGO beneficiaries.
