You're Invited | Shape Your Story: Woman to Woman Mentorship Event

The Minneapolis Hub of Global Shapers is building on the momentum of International Women's Day and Women's History Month by engaging local women in exploring "her-story" next weekend. See below for more details about Shape Your Story: Woman to Woman Mentorship Event on Saturday, April 11 at Laura Jeffrey Academy. Join them to celebrate women's leadership and to connect with local leading women across a variety of sectors!

Shape Your Story: Woman to Woman Mentorship Event

Join Minneapolis Hub of Global Shapers on April 11 to celebrate women leadership in the Twin Cities! The Minneapolis Global Shapers, in partnership with the MN Cup, sponsored by the Bush Foundation, will include a variety of workshops for emerging leaders and opportunities to connect and learn from the established women leaders in the Twin Cities. The day will include networking and community building with other emerging leaders, followed by lunch and mentorship circles facilitated by leading women in a variety of sectors, and will conclude with a networking reception.

Event agenda as follows:
9 - 10am       Registration and networking
10 - 11am     Welcome and personal leadership workshop
11am - Noon Community building exercises
12 - 1pm       Catered lunch and art performance
1 - 4pm         Mentorship circles
4 - 5pm         Closing and networking

When you register, you will have the opportunity to choose topics for the 3 Mentorship Circles you will be involved with. Topics include: risk-taking, failure, vulnerability, confidence, financial acumen, effective communication, work-life balance, managing multiple interests/activities, personal leadership journey, career development, building strategic relationships, awareness and inclusion, initiative.
