With the new year comes new opportunities, new challenges and a new legislative landscape for nonprofits to navigate in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and the Minnesota Council on Foundations invite you join us on Friday, January 9 for 2015 Session Line-Up. During this free gathering, several of Minnesota's key political leaders will share their priorities for the upcoming legislative session, discuss the issues they think will dominate the debate in 2015, and give their ideas on how nonprofits can best serve as resources to decision makers at the capitol and beyond.

This year's invited speakers include:
  • Speaker of the House, Kurt Daudt (invited)
  • House Minority Leader, Paul Thissen (confirmed)
  • Senate Assistant Majority Leader, Katie Sieben (confirmed)
  • Senate Minority Leader, David Hann (confirmed)
  • Governor Mark Dayton (invited)
This year's gathering will also include information about the Capitol renovation project and how to navigate construction during the 2015 session.

We hope you can join us as we share in the opportunity to get our questions on the legislative table right from the start!

If you haven't already reserved your space at this popular event, I encourage you to RSVP soon. Seating is limited.

We look forward to seeing you on January 9!

All my best,

Susie Brown
