You're Invited: Volunteer with the Cedar Grove/Rahn National Night Out Block Party

National Night Out, slated for next Tuesday, provides a great opportunity annually to connect with your neighbors and local community organizations. The Eagan Resource Center, which aims to serve those in need and to eliminate hunger in Dakota County, is hosting a Block Party in coordination with the Eagan Police Department to commemorate the occasion. If you want to be part of an effort engaging 15,000 communities from all 50 states this year, consider participating in their local event as a volunteer!

National Night Out
A Great Way to Volunteer!

Are you looking for a unique way to volunteer with us?  Come join the Eagan Resource Center on Tuesday, August 7th from 5pm - 8:30pm for our National Night Out Block Party sponsored by the Running Room of Eagan.  Our Cedar Grove/Rahn neighborhood will gather at the Resource Center to celebrate community and we need your help with the event!  Volunteers, like you, will help serve food, monitor inflatable/yard games, mingle with guests and help to distribute door prizes.

Does this sound like a good fit for you?  Please give Mary, Program Manager, a call 651-605-2883 or email maryf@eaganrc.org by Friday, August 3rd if possible.  More information about the event can be found here .

We look forward to celebrating community on August 7th and hope you will join us!

In Gratitude,

Lisa Horn, Executive Director
